New submission from Anantharaman <[email protected]>: Currently, an MPEG TS shows an AC-3 audio-stream in the PMT with stream-type 0x81 (following ATSC). Since my receivers cannot play this and assume conformance ETSI EN 300 468 I created the attached fix which I tested at ffmpeg r21032 (swscale r30184). I am submitting as feature-request because clearly it should be configurable (e.g. via an AVFormat option which selects the present implementation or my fix) rather than being hard-coded.
