ffmpeg -i together.wma -ab 320k together.m4a produces identical 
artifacts so no, map_meta_data is not needed.

"ffmpeg -i together.wma together.wav && ffplay together.wav" produces no 
artifacts, but "ffmpeg -i together.wma together.mp4 && ffplay 
together.mp4" produces the same artifacts (which appear as a vertical 
white line on ffplay's visual, which is attached.)
