New submission from anacrolix <anacro...@gmail.com>: I accidentally ran a partially downloaded video file through ffprobe, and it froze up my system until all memory was consumed.
The file has been xz'd, as it's a 1.5GB mostly sparse file. It can be reconstituted with `xz -dvk bad.xz`. Uncompressed md5sum is e618c781475a2390d7a060f833329d32. File 'bad.xz' not attached - you can download it from https://roundup.ffmpeg.org/file1364. ---------- files: bad.xz messages: 13845 priority: normal status: new substatus: new title: ffprobe 100% cpu 100% memory type: bug ________________________________________________ FFmpeg issue tracker <iss...@roundup.ffmpeg.org> <https://roundup.ffmpeg.org/issue2655> ________________________________________________
