The wiki is not considered to be the official documentation; it is meant to supplement the official documentation, not replace it, although that fact probably isn't clear to most general users. That link you provided was mostly written by rogerdpack. I appreciate the work he put into it, but in my opinion, he has a tendency to write in a "stream-of-consciousness" style, with less structural formatting, which does not always make a good result for wiki articles (for me at least). I have little experience with streaming, so I have not edited it. > And here is what another person did: I agree that is not a very helpful description. > ffmpeg -f dshow -i video="screen-capture-recorder":audio="Stereo Mix > (IDT High Definition" \ > -vcodec libx264 -preset ultrafast -tune zerolatency -r 10 -async 1 > -acodec libmp3lame -ab 24k -ar 22050 -bsf:v h264_mp4toannexb \ > -maxrate 750k -bufsize 3000k -f mpegts udp://192.168.5.215:48550 > I understand you're using directx to capture web cam, but does not > explain why, does not explain how each command works either as acts You're expected to refer to the official documentation on each option if the wiki does not explain each and every detail.
