I have posted in many forums but have never got a response. Basic question but cannot find the answer with Google. Is there a input protocol that is more stable for uptime with FFmpeg? At the moment I have this set up DVB cards / Astra Cesbo = output = udp://239.255.1.2:1234 / Xtreamcodes software U/ add URL = udp://239.255.1.2:1234 and then FFmpeg does the transcoding x264 Sometimes my streams restart during the day maybe 3 or 4 times What`s the best input protocol to use with FFmpeg for stability and uptime.
