I was one step further:
https://lists.ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-user/, looking at the
"Using ffmpeg-user" section. (the problem might apply to other lists as
well, which I haven't subscribed to)
Also, I took into account other pages are probably providing the email
address itself, without further advice, instead of pointing to ffmpeg's
page.
