The sole point of filter is usage in forensics to amplify small pixel changes in
static video. But it could be added to filter, sure it would not hurt
to extend its funcionality.

Sounds good. I have videos of the night sky and want to amplify fast moving objects, especially meteors. But I don't want to amplify the noise.
