All, In the list of things added to the last ffmpeg release one of the items mentioned is 'gif parser'. I was hoping a search would satisfy my curiosity but I haven't been able to see what specific changes related to the gif format were incorporated. After some time I thought I'd turn to the ffmpeg mailing list.
If anyone has any links, information or insights it will be appreciated. In the meantime I will look closer at the likely places I've missed in searching for information. Note. I'm not having any issues with ffmpeg and gif formatting in fact quite the opposite as I've been playing with gif animation with full transparency out of ffmpeg since this past January. I was aware of some of the previous issues related to gif format... especially frame/image replacement... and perhaps it is those that have as of the last release formally had solutions implemented. Thank you. I've really enjoyed watching the ffmpeg list and have learned a lot from everyone posting and the feedback given. (and no... I do NOT have any plans to top post!) - Rodney _______________________________________________ ffmpeg-user mailing list ffmpeg-user@ffmpeg.org https://ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-user To unsubscribe, visit link above, or email ffmpeg-user-requ...@ffmpeg.org with subject "unsubscribe".
