Okay, for those of you who are following along, and for others coming into this movie for the first time, a summary:

If you're not familiar with/aware of MonInfo, I just queried HDMI capabilities via MonInfo and the report is below. I switched the Sharp TV to '23Hz' (24/1.001Hz, actually) via the NVIDIA control panel and then made the report. Next, I'm going to play a fer-sure p24 source and see what MPV reports for frame rate. The MPV developers assure me that what it reports is what the TV is actually getting (though I'm still skeptical about that).
