I can only imagine this means they're using a different version of FFmpeg. But perhaps it's due to having something like Rogue Amoeba Loopback installed, or some other application. I tend to doubt it. I've personally tested this on 2 different systems running macOS, this Mac Studio M3 Ultra, and an M3 Pro MacBook. Many others have reported the issue as well with no resolution: https://www.reddit.com/r/ffmpeg/comments/z0f8g4/ask_for_help_avfoundation_audio_stutters_sounds/ https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65817212/crackling-sound-when-recording-audio-with-ffmpeg https://trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/4513 I'll create a Time Machine backup of my MacBook Pro, and run a test with zero 3rd party software installed, 2 different capture card brands, and zero other hardware attached. I'm quite sure the issue will still be present, but I understand the skepticism; due diligence is on me. _______________________________________________ ffmpeg-user mailing list ffmpeg-user@ffmpeg.org https://ffmpeg.org/mailman/listinfo/ffmpeg-user To unsubscribe, visit link above, or email ffmpeg-user-requ...@ffmpeg.org with subject "unsubscribe".
