It’s my first post, hope will do it good 😊 I tried *a lot* of configurations to speedup a ffmpeg conversion to have - ie. – a 16x (or more) video. Any configuration requires some minutes to do it. So I tried (you’ll laugh…) VLC + infinite scroll mouse and I can see my 1hr video in 10sec, immediately, without conversions, without freezes, without losing anything must be not lost. Why VLC can show my 1hr video in 10sec and ffmpeg requires many minutes to produce a ready-to-see video? Question B: Why VLC can show my 1hr video with a (max) 32x speedup in real time and ffmpeg requires… (blah blah, see above)? Thnaks for your ideas!
