Hi, I am a web developer with minimal understanding of video conversions, trying to assist a client with converting his training videos saved in the .iso dvd format to .m3u8 for the purpose of streaming via a Wordpress component which requires that format for security reasons.
My understanding (via AI) is that this requires a two step process involving the .iso files to be converted to .mp4 using Handbrake or similar, and then converting from.mp4 to m3u8 using ffmpeg. While I am fairly certain I can do the first step (Handbrake is because I’m a Mac user), I am not comfortable with command-line and do not understand the terminology used. I am hoping that someone who is familiar with both ffmpeg and command-line could provide a quote to do this work. If they can also undertake the first step and provide a quote covering each step, I would be interested. For further context, all the .iso files are on a cloud server which I can grant access to. I would expect an NDA to be signed to protect my clients intellectual property. Is this a valid question for this forum. My apologies if not.
