not a bad idea... bzr doesn't really answer this question anyway (*) 
since only the sources were imported, but perhaps they should be used to 
track generated versions as well.


(*) this is what I use in other contexts with bzr as the tool - the 
specific context can be induced from the use of the identifier, and this 
isn't a word diff but a chunk diff.  I just have this saved off in a 
little script and never think about it, just run it when genning a new 
version of that spec (LSB).  recommend something similar for FHS....

bzr diff --diff-options="-bBw -D ERRATA" -r -2 $spec.txt > $spec.DIFF
