Binding off both needles at the same time:
Needles have same number of stitches. Take a third needle and insert it
into the first stitch on the front needle and then into the first stitch of
the back needle; knit both as one stitch onto third needle. Repeat. Pass
1st stitch over 2nd to bind off. Continue till all stitches are bound
off. Do this with right sides together if you want the non-seam on the
inside; on the wrong side if you want the welt to show.
