As complete beginner, I was able to take the "live" version of the video.
My first exposure to spinning was on Patsy's Lendrum. I've been hooked
ever since. The class lasted three weeks, and required taking raw fiber
to completed object. My daughter got a nice hat out of it all.
Her next hat is the real reason I responded. I made it from a novelty
yarn. Patsy has an intermediate video on spinning novelty type yarns. I
can't say I've mastered much of anything in this one, but it's crammed
full of ideas. Patsy goes into detail on using crimp, fiber selection,
plying, etc. to full advantage. If you liked her beginner video, this
one will leave your head spinning!
