This thread about color theory is WAY over my head. I live for color,
work in it every day, but STUDY? That sounds suspiciously like the
dreaded "sampling". And if you're going to start with Fibonacci, I'm
outta here! My understanding and technique are titled "the mad chemist
meets Jackson Pollock".

Yeah, Holly!!

I am fascinated though by the studies (oops) done on the emotional and
psychological impact of color on the mind. Some interesting work done on
that by a Swiss - I forget his name. The book's around here somewhere.

Check into the work of artist Chuck Close. Skip the b&w stuff for this
discussion and go right to the color.

Rhinebeck was lovely. The day started out rainy as we pulled out at 5:30
am and DH was ready to abort the mission, but I insisted it was just
heavy mist. (God bless husbands for the things they will permit
themselves to believe). The day cleared beautifully and he had a great
time. I'm really glad of that because he had to drive more than 6 hours.

He's now fascinated by cashmere goats :-( I have learned to be very
cautious when he takes an interest in anything that has four legs or
four wheels.
