On Saturday, April 6, 2002 The Rhode Island Spinners' Guild will be hosting "Friends Across the Borders" a full day of spinning, knitting, desserts, history and good old-fashioned socializing. We would like to invite all interested fiber folk and those interested in textile history to join us at Slater Mill National Historic Site, 67 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI on the above date from 10am to 4pm.
Bring your wheel, knitting or whatever you wish to work on and your lunch - our guild members will be provide desserts and beverages. There will also be local vendors on hand selling yarns, fiber and fiber accessories. The event will take place indoors so it will be held rain or shine. There is plenty of parking adjacent to the site. Additionally, guided tours of the Slater Mill Site will be available for $5.00. For more information or directions to the mill, please feel free to contact David Lima at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or at 401-333-6016. We hope to see you there. -- David Lima To stop mail temporarily mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: set nomail To restore send: set mail
