<<I do find that I use another wheel for my very fine

Magnus not to have to fight it a bit. (Maybe I should define
"fine"--like 40 wpi, maybe?)

What flyer/whorl combination do you use on yours?>>

You may have to adjust the length of the drive band to get a lighter
pull - keep in mind that whenever you move the upper arm away from
the drive wheel, you're tightening the drive band. Measure the length
of the drive band you're using now, and try making one slightly
longer and see how it works.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you won't be able to use the
largest of the bobbin whorls with the smaller drive whorls - if the
bobbin whorl is larger/higher than the drive whorl, the drive band
will simply flip off.

It's a complex set of adjustments to make (but very much worthwhile.)
