Holly, My garter stitch shawls are triangular and I start them at the point. It is actually half a dish cloth knit on size 13 needles! Gives a lacy look and then I add fringe at the bottom. I may make one from the yarn I did at our guild dye day last week. Thanks for the inspiration!
