If you store your wool in a sealed container of any kind and it is not already infected, you can keep moths out. A cardboard box taped shut works, but is awkward if you are in and out of the wool. I have gone to Rubbermaid tubs. They stack well and seal tight. Beware of the ones with an airhole under the handles, moth freeway. This was a different brand I got on sale. Not good. I just threw out one bag I had not gotten too. It was a grocery sack of black washed wool and the top had unfolded. Not good. I have a bigger problem with mice. They adore wool.
