The skies have been gray for weeks without end here in northern lower Michigan--typical for the late fall/early winter, we often don't have much sun until well into January. Yesterday I was trying to work on a project requiring subtle changes from cool to warm blues, and not having much luck under artificial light.
My dh told me he could buy some full spectrum incandescent light bulbs, but when he brought them home I found they were just regular bulbs coated with a warm pink color, making the light a little less yellow in the studio, but certainly not full spectrum as I understand that. They are GE "Reveal" bulbs, in case anyone knows on what basis they claim a pinkish coating makes them emit full spectrum light! I would like to hear the story. Anyway, does anyone know of any incandescent light bulbs that really are full spectrum? As I understood it, that would mean they emit all the same light as the sun does. I don't use fluorescent light bulbs, the flickering gives me headaches. Holly To stop mail temporarily mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: set nomail To restore send: set mail
