I put 2 cups in 15 gallons of water. That is enough to do most entire fleeces. Then if I want and the water isn't too gross, I can add another 1/2 cup and wash a second fleece in the same water.
As to the cost...I wish I could get it for $1.50 per gallon! That would be less than $100.00 a drum! Including shipping to the West coast, it is over $750.00 per drum, and that is buying 4 drums at once to get the best price on shipping!
