One day, matutuwa at maipagmamalaki natin ito, siguro mga anak o apo natin. At this point of time, hindi pa nila appreciated ang Filex at ang mga taong nasa likod nito, subalit, panahon na lamang ang makapagsasabi kung ano ang pinasimulan nang ating mahal na Ambassador Libran N. Cabactulan. This is actually a tribute to his ingenuity and love for the common tao. Know what, everywhere I go, I feel happy and proud about FILEX, why? for example, last nite, i was in Wall Street Exchange in Hamdan, and while doing some transactions, I ask the Pinay in the counter if she knew about Filex. She said yes, and I am really aching to be a member. I said, why? and she replied: its not for anything else but I like the objectives and the principles behind its establishment. No touch ako really. She signed up immediately and even paid for her colleague who waste no time to complete the membership form. I got two members just in that instance. And this early morning, while I was inside the UNB, I also asked the all Filipino staff about Filex and with little introduction I got the five (5) of them to agree to be a member and so I gave them 5 membership forms. I will have to see them tonite at the Paskuhan sa Nayon at Al Jazira Bowling Center. Btw, I promised these guys at UNB to form the Filipino Bankers Club in UAE. One of them named Paz is very keen on having one consolidating all Pinoys in UAE Banks. If you find time today, visit us at the Paskuhan sa Nayon, Al Jazira Bowling Center, Airport Road, after the immigration bridge turn right at first street leading to Al Jazira Sports Club.Its from 6pm to 12 midnite.
