Hi, Mitchell. I just wanted to introduce myself. I am the Southeast Asian Studies librarian at UCLA; it is my job to collect Filipiniana materials. I am not attending the book fair, though, since I'm new, and there's no budget anyway. (How does your library have a budget?). Once you've been there, I would be interested in learning about your experiences and if you have any specific publishing houses, bookstores, etc. to recommend.
Gary Colmenar of UCSB may be going to the book fair. He has also recommended Solidaridad Bookshop owned by F. Sionil Jose. Are you a member of APALA, by the way? Best, Jade _________________________________________________________________ Get thousands of games on your PC, your mobile phone, and the web with Windows®. http://clk.atdmt.com/MRT/go/108588800/direct/01/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Filipino Librarians" group.
