The Rizal Technological University and Human Resource Development Center
(HRDC) would like to invite you to a forum on “Abstracting Theses, Feasibility
Studies, Scientific Studies and Seminar Papers: The Easy Way ” on March 10,
2009 from 1:00–5:00 p.m. It will be held at the Rizal Technological University
, Training Hall B, 4th Floor, ITC Building , Mandaluyong City .
The forum has the following objectives:
o To know what an abstracting is, its types and benefits
o To know the parts of an abstract
o To learn the techniques in abstracting feasibility studies, scientific
studies and seminar papers.
Topics to be discussed are: “Abstracting Theses, Feasibility Studies,
Scientific Studies and Seminar Papers: The Easy Way” (Speaker: Dr. Juan C.
Buenrostro, Jr., Chief Librarian, Baliuag University, Lecturer (BU, UE) and
author of books "Abstracting and Indexing, Collection Management, etc.)
Participants will be charged Php 200 and undergraduate students Php 50.00. The
forum fee is inclusive of snacks and certificates. Handout in CD is Php 50.00
upon request.
The participants are library support staffs, teachers, librarians and other
professional.
