Is anyone here a recipient of book foundations that are actively donating
library materials?  Can you please share to us its addresses so we can also
seek for assistance? Our college is already a recipeint of the Asia Foundation,
Manila; Darien Book Aid Plan, Inc.,Conneticut, USA; Internationaal Science
Foundation, Sherman Turnpike, Manhattan District, New York City, USA, Zip Code
100017 and the Worldbank Family Network,

book foundations so we can hopefully avail of their book assistance also.
Thank you very much and I am looking forward for your replies.....

Hello All!

I'm writing in behalf of the Philippine Board On Books for Young People (PBBY)
and its initiative to seek out libraries who need books. The board is trying to
identify recipient libraries for book donations because many donors approach
PBBY on this matter. Apart from The National Library, the PBBY would like to
extend its reach to libraries who really are in dire need of books and reading
materials outside metro Manila or in areas where books are scarce and difficult
to acquire.

Please reply to me personally so I can discuss the guidelines. Donors would
like to be assured that the books shall be in good hands, meaning, that these
books shall be used, cared for and protected.

Looking forward!

Zarah Gagatiga
President
Philippine Board On Books for Young People
