Collect and analyze financial, industry and corporate governance information related to board matters, executive compensation, auditors, stockholders, M&A transactions, Sustainability issues based on RMG’ definitions and policy guidelines. Summary of Essential Job Functions The Data Analyst position is accountable for: · Procure and process governance and sustainability company information for US and international companies as assigned to meet stated turn-around goals. · Update and input data as required to ensure the quality of the data utilized by various RMG proprietary application. · Conducts frequent research by browsing through various financial, exchange and government regulator websites as well as corporate governance and sustainability public databases · Monitor key performance indicators for assigned data management area · Ensure adequate audit trails for data that is received or sent from production systems · Monitor quality control metrics to identify potential data issues and perform root cause analysis if data issues are identified · Maintain appropriate paper and electronic files as required by RMG and client file retention policies · Participate and conducts research to support policy formulation and update efforts · Interact and participate with the financial community (Academics, RMG clients, Government organizations, non-profit research organizations, etc) to conduct ad-hoc research studies analyzing the information captured for the companies/sectors/markets covered. · Participate in various working committees and/or projects Minimum Requirements · Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent · Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate governance/ financial analysis and research · Analytical ability and financial understanding of investment issues · Knowledge and experience with MS Office · Ability to work within a team-oriented environment · Ability to work under tight deadlines · Strong attention to detail · Fluency in one of the following languages is a plus: Vietnamese, or Bahasa aside from fluency in English.
