If interested to get a copy of this precious book: Come and be one of the 1st 60 to register on June 18, 2010 for PAARL’s lecture-forum on “Technical Preparation-Requirements for Book Prescription Shops: Starting Pace for Bibliotherapy Sessions in Philippine Libraries to be held in the Librarians’ Center of the National Book Store Superbranch, Araneta Center (beside Gateway), Cubao, Quezon City. The 1pm forum is aimed @ assisting libraries and librarians to consider putting up a book prescription shop appropriate for their clients by: (1) Acquiring speaker’s practical tips, hints and experiences of setting up a new library and information service known as Book Prescription Services (BPS); (2) Developing a comprehensive collection of materials to support Book Prescription Services (BPS); and, (3) Creating a program of bibliotheraphy based on certain technical guidelines and principles learned. Registration fee is P300.00 for members, P350.00 for non-members and P100.00 for students to cover the snacks and certificates. Renewal and application of membership are also encouraged.
