I made a mistake in this message below: Ms. Aniline Vidal remains a member of our Yahoogroup but under a different email account ---gmail, this time, not yahoo--- but still using the same name. Anyway, I have successfully deleted her yahoo account from our membership. So the hacker will now attempt to post spam messages in other group sites, hoping to con their members into responding and giving away their passwords. It is so convenient to get into group sites with such a large membership like ours - with more than 1200 potential victims.
The moral lesson here is: re-set your password before deactivating your account, and unsubscribe from the group before you apply under your new account, so that our site remains secure from potential hackers.
