DATE: March 25, 2011 In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act (R.A.) No. 7722 otherwise known as the "Higher Education Act of 1994", this Office hereby endorses the subject undertaking for the support and participation of all concerned. With the theme Library Tourism & Hospitality: The Business of Endearing Philippine Libraries and Information Centers to Publics, this activity primarily aims to draw a marketing landscape for libraries and information centers in bringing out a service differentiation, library hospitality plus successful repeat service. A registration fee of Five Thousand Pesos (Php. 5,000.00) for live in participants and Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php. 4,500.00) for live-out participants shall be charged from each delegate inclusive of seminar kits, meals and certificate of participation. Participation of officials, employees and students from private higher education institutions shall be VOLUNTARY.
