Dear friends and colleagues, The Rizal Library of the Ateneo de Manila University will again conduct a hands-on training on Archives and Records Management on November 3-4, 2011 from 8 am to 5 pm at the Rizal Library Special Collections Building.
The training aims to enable the participants to: 1. Learn through experience the difference and similarities about archives and records management; 2. Learn the basic preservation measures and reformatting options; 3. Acquire knowledge in selection, retention, and disposition of archival materials; and 4. Apply both trends and standards in archival and records management in your own organization. The fee for the training program is PhP 2,000, which will cover the kit, food for two days, as well as other expenses. The program will be limited to 20 participants only and shall be on a first come, first served basis.
