Dear fellow librarians, I searched from the Internet a copy of the CHED MINIMUM standards for graduate school library book holdings. In 2005, the CHED standards for graduate school library book holdings are as follows: 1) 1, 500 accessiioned inclusive of the 5 non-duplicated titles of books per subject (for initial), 2) 300 professional books and at least 20% of which musdt have been published for the last four years, 3) at least five (5) non-duplicated titles of graduate reference books on specialize disciplinens in every subject offered under the program; and 4) Use of CD-ROM, Internet and other education technologies is encouraged. May I know from you if the abovementioned minimum standards still the same or there are other changes? I searched website www.ched.bov.ph but I cannot find one. Any recommendations or suggestions that I can have the copy of the new minimum standard for book holdings of graduate school library? I asked the in-charge of CHED personnel in our registrar and said to search in the internet. Thank you and God bless.
