The Philippine Group of Law Librarians, Inc (PGLL) a national organization
of law librarians is sponsoring a Forum on *“ Party-List for Librarians
and Information Professionals?**,”* during the Manila International Book
Fair on*Thursday, 13 September 2012* from *1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.* at the
*SMX Convention Center (Meeting Rooms 2 & 3), Pasay City. *
Party-List is *national, regional and sectoral parties or organizations or
coalitions thereof registered with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).
Sectoral representatives work for the special interest or concerns of
their sector. There are party-list on teachers, women, and even security
guards to work for their special concerns in Congress. We librarians and
information professionals need it too.*

*A group of librarians have started to work for the formation of a
Party-List. It is for this reason that we would like to invite you to
attend the forum and give your feedbacks, suggestions on how this movement
could materialize.*
