Wolfgang,

Meybe "Dual scans" was not the right terminalogy.

I sometimes make the first scan with the analog gain
set for the shadows, then do a second scan
optimized for highlights, and then merge them
in Photoshop using masks.

I am not sure if this feasable in Viewscan.
Perhaps others who use Viewscan could enlighten us
about using Viewscan for this.
