Vuescan "mode" detects the slide adapter for my LS-2000, and
assumes "slide" while I am really scanning a (flatter) negative. Does
Vuescan pass this "color positive" assumption to other parameters
which would adversely affect the scanning of a negative??? I haven't
found any implication this is so, but I have only been experimenting
with the "film holder" ... and otherwise cannot figure out what "mode"
is for except for making parameter assumptions(?)
