Yep, that makes sense.  Try scanning a slide with bright colours in AdobeRGB,
then in sRGB and have a look at the difference on the screen in colour saturation.

Sounds like an excellent idea!

Actually I think I've convinced them to look into supporting some other
wider gamut colour space at least at *some* point.  sRGB is great for images
on screen, and most people using PSP are making web graphics and screen
images with it - and it works really well.  But sRGB has some problems when
it comes to printing.

Certainly lots of web graphics PROfessionals use PSP.  I've just been trying
to cajole them into supporting us photographic types a little better. :)
