filmscanners: Re:OT Kodak Picture CD vs. PhotoCD

Can someone tell me which one of these is the high resolution cd?
I know one of them is trademarked by Kodak exclusively and has much better 
resolution while the other is for "general purpose".  I know this has been 
talked about before on this list but knew I could get a quick answer.
