That is very useful information. I have seen packages of EPGPP in the
stores with "new" and "improved" stickers on them; but since the original
EPGPP often had similar stickers on them, I was not sure if I could trust
them to be the reformulated paper or the old paper which while discontinued
by Epson was still in a lot of distributor's pipelines. How do you find the
quality of the new reformulated version as compared to the old version with
respect to the dread orange fade as well as other non archival related
qualities? An interesting side question which is not OT is: Have your or
anyone else tried rescanning scanned images printed on the EPGPP paper and
with what results? I would think that such a question would furnish some
indication as to what sorts of results one might expect if one were to send
those types of prints to a Rpro house for scanning and printing.

In the US there are two ways, one, often (but not always) there's a
sticker added to the package that states the manufacturing date. I've
seen Dec '00, and the last batch I purchased said 2001. Second, the
lot numbers of earlier iterations ended in 0, the 3rd iteration ends
in 1. Lot number is on back of package at bottom.
