The point of the statement attributed to Einstein ... I question Einstein's authority on such matters. I read that on some days he would claim that relativity was simple to explain to a layman, and on others he'd say it was impossible. I think these statements were made to the wife of a faculty member, who was engaged in painting his portrait. Moreover, the man had no experience with film scanners. :-) Bill Ross
