filmscanners: Newbie Question & LS2000 w/Vuescan

I am new to the list and was wondering if there are archives available to
search.  Secondly, I am using my LS2000 with Vuescan and when I do a scan it
does not load it into Photoshop.  If Photoshop is not running it will start
it up but the picture is not imported.  The 'external viewer' is set to
default and Photoshop is the default app for tiff files.  I also have
Photodeluxe and it will load the scan if I change the tiff default app.  Any
ideas???  Tony Eck
