This gives me a 240Mb 8-bit file, or a 480Mb 16-bit file. Good luck on getting 16-bit - even here in San Francisco where one can get big scans, no one gives 16-bit, partly because the scanner software doesn't support it. But there seem to be hardwired expectations in people who work hardware in production mode in general. I would consider having it scanned at a high-end place in another country that will give you what you need. Bill Ross
