I'm adding a Polaroid Sprint Scan 4000 to my already crowded desktop, and it does not seem (I don't have a level) to sit precisely level in either of the two places I had hoped to put it. That worries me because I think I remember reading somewhere that it's important that a scanner sit perfectly flat. I'd appreciate any advice about how important leveling scanners is. (My older Epson 836XL flatbed looks level but may not be.) Thanks. Sam
