nikontechusa.com should have worked; it's alive 
as I type this.  There's also www.nikon-euro.com

All else fails, there's 800-NIKON-UX, which is 
available 24/7 for 1st-level tech support. Calling 
at 7 AM I've never waited more than a few moments.
