What is the rational for using very high-end cables for SCSI devices. I've seen Granite cables that go for what? $75-100 a pop? http://www.scsipro.com/catalog/index.htm Are the better cables just hype? Could one expect them to increase the delivery of dynamic range across devices, as do audio cables? (Meaning, quality audio cables don't increase the dynamic range of the tone-arm stylus [the capture device], but they do help transfer what is captured to the speakers; or do I have that wrong?) Or, are they just for last ditch efforts at resolving error-code types of SCSI problems - those that might result from poor points of contact? What would justify their expense? Todd
