Thanks all - I sorted it out. Not sure why.FWIW I upgraded to service pack two. Deleted the oem1.inf file in \winnt\inf directory, then reinstalled the Win2K driver. It found it straight away. Not sure whats going on as I reinstalled it 10+ times before. Wondering if there was a SP fix in there specific to my hardware. Who knows, it works so who cares eh! <G> 4am.. argh bed. zzz...
