I have placed an order for the LS8000 as I like the ICE features of my LS2000.
Have not being able to run any tests to confirm the as mentioned the LS8000 has banding problems Is this a critical defect with this scanner? (except in fine mode scan) Does anyone think that Nikon will fix or can it be rectified with Firmware or software? Where could I find a reference pic showing this banding or could someone email me a sample (small) please. Should I go ahead with the purchase? or buy a SS120 and forget the ICE. Rob
