No, they aren't related at all. The "Color|White point (%)" option controls how much of the image clips to white. This is what most minilabs do when printing negative film, and setting this option to 5% or 10% duplicates what a minilab does. The gamma option in VueScan is equivalent to changing the midpoint of a correction curve. Regards, Ed Hamrick
