I personally don't know of any notebooks that use SCSI drives, but I would
be happy if and when they do, at least have an external SCSI port on them!

One of the big reasons for not using SCSI, aside from real estate for
controller chips (IDE controllers are built-in to the chipsets), is the CD
drives use IDE too, and I don't know of a small form factor CD/DVD drive
that's SCSI.  Also heat/power is a problem too, as well as power
consumption.  IDE is way easier for notebooks...
