I recently consulted with a company who uses both Ektachrome and
Kodachrome, and I found that using the Kodachrome option in NScan was
essential in getting a sharp image.

I found it odd though that in general scanning with Ektachrome(Using
the positive setting), the images were not as sharp as I would have
expected, even though they were not bowed at all. I did have unsharp
masking off.

I'm wondering if NScan has an optimum Unsharp mask setting as I
generally don't like to use it and didn't want to waste too much time
testing.

Thanks,
