Someone who is not yet subscribed here is buying a SS4000 scanner and wanted to know which is the best SCSI card to use with the scanner on a PC, with, I assume, PCI interfacing.
Also, he was wondering which type of SCSI cable he needs (he wanted to pre-purchase the cable, as it isn't coming with the purchase). What SCSI II cable plug does the scanner use, and what is required on the Card end? I haven't used an SS4000, only the SS4000+ which uses USB and Firewire, and I can't recall what the SS4000 "rear" looks like.
